If it’s a one score game I think the Chiefs prevail. A lesser Eagles team last year beat this same Chiefs team in the regular season last year. The Eagles have to leave no doubt. If the Eagles OL is healthy and they take care of the football, the Eagles should win by double digits.

I got the eagles 42-17

Which is why that shit spot did the bills in. I honestly think if the bills score a td there they go for 2 to end it and go up 30-21
I finally saw the play (well, replay) and looked like it was short. If the one ref did not run in like he made it not as big a deal.

'should' is a bit strong but they're your team and it's just sports chat

They’re the only team that played yesterday that deserved to win

Kc and Buffalo both played like it was time to go golfing

But Kc winning with their c game is something

It’s about the line of scrimmage play. The Chiefs have some pieces that are exploitable vs the run on defense and tackles that are exploitable protecting the passer. The defense is led by a savant at defensive coordinator that will adjust to what Reid does. They play complimentary football. The Eagles have a better roster than the Chiefs as well.

Is this even true though? Fans want to cry about refs so they do. Likely ignore any bad call against KC.

I mean, Buffalo was allowed to stop KC when they went ahead and didn't....then again when they got it back late and didn't. also in middle of that were allowed to not get stopped but did.

Exactly

There are 50/50 calls in every game every week.

Because of the narrative, anytime a close call goes KC’s way everybody loses their minds.

I finally saw the play (well, replay) and looked like it was short. If the one ref did not run in like he made it not as big a deal.

They showed the replay from both sides where the officials were.

From the side where the official who made the actual spot was, the camera made it look like Allen was short of the line. And based on what that camera showed, I don’t see how that official can be criticized from where he spotted the ball. Honestly is pretty ignorant to do so.

The guy who came in from the other side and looked ready to give the first down had the view that the camera could see the ball and it looked to crest the line for a short time.

He also looked like he had the spot perfect based on what he saw.

For whatever reason, when they discussed they went with the spot from the near official. And because that spot was off by maybe an inch, replay just isn’t going to overturn that.

When it is that close, could be a camera angle trick making it appear like he got it.

I'd also add on the play prior looked like his knee went down and was given an extra yard or so on the play.....weird but don't think anyone complained.

Should be a helluva Super Bowl. Two or three really funny commercials would be nice. I can remember back in the day looking forward to the S.B. ads. Not so much anymore. It's a shame.
Agreed. Those commercials used to be something to look forward to...

Anyways the Chiefs conspiracy talk has gotten to the point where it's almost comical. I'm thinking asterisk talk will start at some point lol...

Yup, the Chiefs simply can't win a game without the help of the zebras. Ask anybody... :rolleyes2:

I hope the crazy talk continues up to game day.

It really is good entertainment to hear the silly excuses.

What kinda surprises me is no Roger Goodell conspiracies. Surely those crybabies can find a way to connect the commish to the totally tarnished trophy K.C. has a chance to get in a couple of weeks.

Hey how about this...maybe Goodell can watch the game with Clark Hunt? :noidea:

I think it's funny to see some people get all angry over the Chiefs great run of success lately.

There's a fine line between jealousy and hatred.
It's just sports hate, and it's pretty natural for fans to root against the reigning dynasty if they aren't fans of the team. The crying about the refs handing things to KC is plenty stupid though, I agree.

Right....just put an ounce of thought into it and they'd see how nuts it is.

Like the owners of the teams the Chiefs play would just say, "sure, we don't care if you let them win"?

Excellent way to sum things up.

Said right when the season started wanted K.C. to 3-peat because it's never been done before. So I get some extra enjoyment outta the crazy reasons the Chiefs have already won.

Not only that, but most of your fans are rooting for the Bills.

Letting someone else win every now and then is actually better for the narrative and probably the ratings too.

Yeah, some folks just can't accept that their team didn't play well enough. The refs have never cost a team a game.

It's like when folks were trying to claim the refs beat the Texans...as if a missed field goal, a missed PAT, a blocked field goal and their QB being sacked 8 times had nothing to do with it.

Add in the fact that some folks are now "tired of them winning all the time" and people just get stupid.
