The annual rivalry game is going to be really interesting this year. UCLA finally has a pretty good defense. 4th in the Nation with 31 sacks.

About damn time. The defense has always been the main weakness for us.

And just 15ppg allowed.

You may be right. That’s just my top 6. FSU hasn’t played anybody. LSU isn’t what they were supposed to be and the ACC is down this year. Like way down. ACC is Clemson dependent and they’re 4-4 now.

First playoff poll this week so here is my top 6:

1. Georgia vs 4. Washington
2. Michigan vs 3. OSU

Last two out
5. FSU
6. OU

next year will be interesting as the CFP is top 6 highest rated conf champs and then 6 at large

that would mean (I have to assume the PAC ceases to exist)

We would have Air Force Tulane and James Madison battling for playoffs

This is the first poll. If I’m the committee, I can’t put Texas above OU because of the head to head. For the same reason, can’t put Bama up there because of head to head loss to Texas.

Up until Louisville, ND had run up like 23 straight vs their ACC teams. ND has been good but just below that top tier. ACC is now subpar. FSU may be really good in the end. My comments are just about the lack of depth in the conference. Louisville, Duke, North Carolina? Meh. It’s not basketball.

Yeah they need a lot. LSU running the table and getting to the SEC title game vs Georgia will be helpful

Michigan losing to Penn State & Ohio State would be a big boost for them as well

Higgins is due and Burrow is finally healthy. That said I’d have a hard time not playing the rb. I’d play the Falcons I think, if memory serves they are decent against the run.
