Josh Hader is the best closer in baseball- but Emmanual Clase is #2.
No the numbers say it’s Taylor Rogers with the PadresJosh Hader is the best closer in baseball- but Emmanual Clase is #2.
CrazyGuardians just came back from being down 4-1 and then being down 10-7 to win the game.
the Guardians are YOUNGER than most TRIPLE A teams. Their best 5 prospects have not even been in the majors yet.
thats not hyperbole either- the average triple A team's roster is older than the Guardians.
I expected a top 10 pitching staff, and a bottom 10 offense out of this team. The pitching has been good. The hitting- surprisingly- has been pretty good too.
I expected about 84-85 wins. Looks like they might break 90.
only thing is- they have had a TON of rainouts and have played like 5-6 games less than just about every other major league team. I heard they have 29 games in 27 days coming up. Thats brutal on a staff.
Uggh he has blown so many games and high ERA. He has the most saves. That’s like saying Kenley Jansen is a top 5 closer. The guy blows games but his offense bails him out and he gets the win. Rogers 2.79 ERA. Jansen’s is over 3.No the numbers say it’s Taylor Rogers with the Padres
I agree Hader is 1 for sure but Rogers is 2. He has 3 blown saves and his numbers have gone up a bit as of late but he is solid.Uggh he has blown so many games and high ERA. He has the most saves. I would say Hader is an easy #1. Clase and Holmes both top 3.
As far as future closers go watch out for that Duran kid in Minny.Uggh he has blown so many games and high ERA. He has the most saves. That’s like saying Kenley Jansen is a top 5 closer. The guy blows games but his offense bails him out and he gets the win. Rogers 2.79 ERA. Jansen’s is over 3.

It's not even about blown saves, he's always in trouble. He has a high ERA. Hader is untouchable but Clase is hitting the gun at 102 or 103 and he finally has his control. Nobody is scared of Rogers. I would take Holmes over RogersI agree Hader is 1 for sure but Rogers is 2. He has 3 blown saves and his numbers have gone up a bit as of late but he is solid.
a friend told me to watch so I did. Just couldn't get into to it but admittedly gave up after 2-3 episodes. Should I go back and watch?Just started the last season of Peaky Blinders. Man I love this show. Anyone else watched?
He can say what he wants if it supports his agenda...even though he claims not to have an agenda.totally agree.
I just dont think you can say Watson committed "sexual assault" when 2 grand juries declined to charge him with sexual assault.
I really have no grasp on criminal law. I know very very little about criminal law. I do know that a grand jury requires very very little evidence to charge a person and that 2 separate grand juries- with 14 different accusers- supposedly the 14 strongest cases- declined to charge.
like i said- something is going on here that we dont have the information.

Truth be told I expected 75-77 wins. Just had zero confidence in the O outside of JRam. No doubt a very pleasant surprise so far and some of these young kids look like keepers.Guardians just came back from being down 4-1 and then being down 10-7 to win the game.

It takes a few episodes to get where you can even understand them lol. Probably not for everyone but I have really liked it.a friend told me to watch so I did. Just couldn't get into to it but admittedly gave up after 2-3 episodes. Should I go back and watch?
He did warn me they were hard to understand. It takes a few episodes to get where you can even understand them lol. Probably not for everyone but I have really liked it.

Jansen wasn't a top 5 closer for at least his last 4 years with Dodgers. Other than 2021 when his ERA was 2.22, he hasn't had an ERA under 3 since 2017.
