Look at it on YouTube. He had him in a chokehold at the end of that play

I'll go with what Mahomes said about it. The article I was talking about in my comment from cbs-sports.com: Patrick Mahomes' mom calls Mack Wilson's hit on Chiefs' quarterback 'trash football' (1/18/21)

Part of the article.

It's worth noting that, dispite the dismay from his mother, Patrick Mahomes himself wasn't bothered by Wilson's hit.

Herbert? (small sample size, but could be very good)
Burrows?

Hoping Burrow can make a full recovery. Even if he plays in a city with the worst chili on the planet. And what little I've seen of the Chargers this season Herbert looks to have bright future. Had a helluva rookie year.

Herbert still young but he seems to have a high ceiling, gotta wait to see his sophomore slump.
Burrow is coming off an injury and if Cincy doesn’t get him an OL he is fucked.

Baker is ahead of both of them for now imo

Baker has the potentail for sure. Just hope he keeps a level head and doesn't let "him" get over the game.

And Stephanski would have been a dumbbell calling Mayfield that right now. I mean don't get me wrong. Finally winning a playoff was great, especially beating the Steelers in their backyard. But that doesn't make him a true franchise QB yet.

True. He could definitely regress. But I'd say he answered a few questions at least. Imo, the question of whether or not he can be a true franchise qb has been put to rest. Now the question is, can he sustain it?

Brees is retiring. Brady is in his 40's and either has 1 more year or will retire.

what other QB's are definitely better than Baker? Any?

Lamar has some issues. Prescott is coming off a major injury. Stafford is sitll pretty damn good but getting old. Ryan is still pretty good but he is getting old. Kyler has been pretty solid.

Rivers just retired too.

Obvioulsy time will tell if Mayfield's a true franchise QB. But he took a big step in the right direction this season. It'll be interesting to see what the Browns do with OBJ. On the offensive side though I'd really like them to get some speed at the wr spot.

The Ravens should be trying to trade for OBJ, not that I think the Browns would trade to an AFC North rival.....

Once OBJ got injured it seemed like Mayfield loosened up a little. Probably because he didn't have a diva yelling at him.

I agree OBJ is a diva but how do you not throw him the ball a lot?

Their best weapon in the passing game.

Not sure what the answer is to that question.

Well, he has to get open. As the #1 WR, he's going to draw extra coverage. Plus, their running game is strong and needs to be featured.

Will another receiver really help though? Lamar looks to run first, and his TE second, then check down RBs, etc. Brown doesn't get enough targets to make a difference.

They are going to revamp the passing game, they have to in order to win.

So an injured Burrow is better right now? I’m not sure anyone will agree.

Herbert looks great but it’s one year. I’m not never putting a rookie in front of a guy that produced in this 3rd year. 10th rated QB. Top 4 in his last 8 games.

Yep a star WR that won’t receiving a ton of targets isn’t helping him a ton. He needs to work on staying in the pocket and reading the field before he takes the next step as a passer. He has the perfect scheme around him to succeed as a runner and like we saw a year ago it can open up the passing but that will only last so long in this league...one year for him. He needs to improve a lot

Kyler, Burrows and Herbert will pass him soon if not already

Rated how? By QB rating, he's 15th in 2020, just ahead of Minshew. By QBR, he's 10th, just ahead of Carr and well behind Fitzmagic. If you're not elevating those names similarly, why elevate Baker because of them? His completion % is 30th in the league in Daniel Jones territory.

Dak should already be on the list but the injury kinda leaves a slight question mark.
Kyler regressed....could he, sure but I think that is the point of the list...he hasn’t.
Burrow injured and no OL.
Herbert, lets slow the roll. It’s one year.

The point is...right now none of those have. Future wise anything is possible. You can add Trevor Lawrence to the list if you want since we are talking hypotheticals here.
