I guess it could get better or worse for him. Better if it comes out even more lied about this and/or recant. worse if more come forward with accusations.

Just glad this is the last month without football until March.

Not a USFL fan I see, lol.

So, anyone that owns Apple product cannot complain about work conditions in the US?

Huh

It's one thing to own a product manufactured under poor conditions and another to complain about the conditions within your own country but then work in altogether different one that is way worse.

I'm ready for football. Always like watching the HOF speeches. I tried for years to get tickets to the event. Not a chance.

Remember when we were talking about Darnold and Baker and I mentioned how bad Darnold has had things?

I just heard that the Panthers had the 2nd worst o-line in the NFL last year. The Panthers may need both Darnold and Baker because that o-line is gonna get someone killed. lol

That's not good. Ouch.

Pretty sure daBears have the worst o-line in the league. If I remember right from a couple of months ago Chicago's the only team that didn't have a single 1st round pick on the line. Heard that, or something like that, on nfl live. Maybe that changed after the draft, not sure.

Whoever is the Panthers starter will have a tough season. I personally hope Darnold wins the job. It would be great to see BM's reation.

Either way you're supporting the horrible conditions with your dollar in the end.

You aren't either. Pretty sure I was the only person in the NBA threads watching those games.

Absolutely correct. I don't do well watching games with no rooting interest or even recognizable players.

It will be interesting if Darnold wins the job, to see how Baker handles it. He doesn't seem like someone who would handle that well. If he doesn't win it, unless something drastic happens, he'll almost certainly get a shot during the season. Darnold will get reckless trying to make something happen while running for his life and Rhule will put Baker in...or the lousy o-line will get him hurt.

Either way, whoever wins the starting job, the other guy is almost certain to get a shot because of the o-line. lol

Damn, they're both gone now.

Might have to binge the Sopranos again when I get some time.

If it can be proven they lied they should face no consequences other than legal fees? How about perjury?
Nope. Not worth it. It’s not even a problem. People just perceive it as such. Upwards of 95% of accusations are on the money. That doesn’t result in convictions. So here’s what happens when you codify that stupid shit into law:
1. Victims of r*pe will end up getting abused again by the system because a conviction wasn’t attained. That’s salt in a wound.
2. The reality is that most who come forward will get no recompense or justice to begin with in our system as is. Even fewer women will come forward when they run the risk of having to do jail time because r*pe is often a he said she said.

The whole belief that women come forward with false accusations to the point where it’s a problem is yet another example of r*pe culture in America. It’s disgusting to think that society would turn even further away from providing these victims justice. Now we’re making them criminals on top of that. This idea is Corky Thatcher level retarded.

Seems to me that if someone makes a false accusation, they've made themselves a criminal.
