Carroll had a winning record in New England and made the playoffs twice in 3 years there. Never had a losing record.

McDaniels was `11-17. No playoffs,

Huge difference between those 2.

McDaniels won a playoff game with Tim Tebow as his QB.

He just might be Vince Lombardi.

This is spot on. Flores' approach isn't strategic at all. The coaching industry is primarily based on relationships. Flores seems like he felt he was entitled to another HC gig. It's not crazy that the Giants hired Daboll. He would've been my first pick for the Phins gig when we fired Flores, and it's not some shocker that they went with Daboll. Daboll did wonders with Josh Allen's growth in Buffalo, and the Giants likely saw that and want to see if Daniel Jones is their guy. We've seen how Flores has mishandled the QB situation in Miami.

But like you said, I don't think this will end the way Flores initially saw. I don't see many coaches jumping on his bandwagon, because again, once you file a class action lawsuit, you still have to prove there was wrongdoing. In the end, most of these coaches will move on, and for Flores, he had allies in Bellichick and Ross and has burned those bridges. I'd be floored if he ever works in the NFL again. He's basically Kaepernick now - no one in the league's going to touch him.
But, he knows this and is fighting the good fight for others.

He'll coach again, it'll just be the XFL, CFL or an HBCU college team.

I thought he was the coach that season?

I know he drafted Tebow.
You said McDaniels made it to the playoffs with Tebow.

Pretty sure Fox was the coach when they made the playoffs and beat the Steelers.

Yes I did.

Was going off the top of my head. Didn’t look it up. Could be wrong.

I am asking.

Haslam does not hold back. I could (and have) even said Hue was given a bum rap as no one could have won with this team(s). I mean, they stripped down a 3-13 roster so I doubt they expected it to not be worse. However, Haslam is so right and likely this is one of the reasons Hue was dumped. Not just the losing but more about his character.

Thanks for posting that.

Hey quit knocking McD. When he was in Denver he clearly had an eye for talent. He used a 1st round pick on Tebow. That's his career head coaching achievement.

In a few weeks......the wife and I gotta drive to Camp Lejeune, NC and turn over the dog to our daughter (the real owner of said dog) who got married a few months ago and finally moved out of the barracks into her own apartment with this douchebag......the wife doesn't want us to replace the dog because it impedes our ability to travel and do stuff since we'd be "responsible dog owners."

This can have negative ramifications as well for other black football coaches.

Brian Flores is coming off as a narcissist here. As it relates to the Dolphins, he was part of one of the most diverse organizations in terms of minorities in a front-office. And he also threw his mentor in BB under the bus in all of this.

And the part he may actually be able to prove, the Ross accusations, won't do anything for black coaches. The part that could have helped him, the accusations against the Giants, he's unlikely to be able to prove.
