I would be surprised if Mahomes doesn’t end up somewhere in that neighborhood given what he has already achieved.

Projecting him top 5 is fine.

But he hasn’t earned it yet.
He made more horrible throws this last season than I saw in the rest of his career combined.

Twitter streets saying Bengals got away with clear fumble. Thoughts?

That's some thin gruel. Even if he did fumble, which seems pretty unlikely from that view, you couldn't really argue that it was clearly recovered by the Chiefs as most of the players just started walking away.

I think he gives himself up and then loses control of the ball. It would be different if he gave it up in the process of giving himself up. The whistle timing is also important

Fellas, fellas. He's gonna get there when all's said and done barring career ending injuries, of course...

Pretty sorry execution by all of the offense to start the season didn't help. Also rookies on the o-line needed time to gel. IMO they had timing issues to work out and they eventually did. Hoping it means they'll start the season sharper and a bit more grounded on the next go round...

I think Mahomes did learn a valuable lesson in patience though. It'll go a long way I think...

I think they need to have a more consistent run game next season or at least be more dedicated to it

With the two high safety looks everybody was giving them they should have had a 1500 yard RB. They need to get better there for sure.

Yep as i posted sunday night their backs actually did work on sunday. 18 carries between the 2 for 100 plus yards. With how they played Mahomes in the 2nd half, those guys should have combined for 25-30 attempts imo

Especially with leads of 21-3 and 21-10

Yep and you know Baker is being unfairly criticized when Cowherd is vehemently defending the guy. lol

There were a few things that went bad in Cleveland. Baker wasn't ready to deal with a "name" WR, OBJ thought he was still a #1 and wanted his targets, and prior to Stefanski...they had a coach who didn't know what the hell he was doing and this year, Baker was obviously injured and trying to play through it.

But OBJ and his Daddy made it all about Baker and folks bought it.

Still find it odd the Browns made the playoffs last season and OBJ only played seven games. Kinda says a lot about how he wasn't as important to the team as he thought he was.

It would be funny if he has a Jackie Smith moment and drops a TD in the end zone during the Super Bowl.

Think that would be a good fit for Flores. He has solid pieces on the defense and will keep them competitive. My concern would be the offensive side of the ball. Hope he gels better with the Saints GM than with Grier down in Miami; Grier sucks just to clear up any confusion.

No doubt about that. honestly don't know if CEH is ever gonna work out considering how much time he stays hurt. McKinnon seemed to be the better option...

The entire difference in the Browns this year and last was Baker's play...and their schedule.

No guarantee but his stats certainly suggest it, it's just how many SB's will he win. I mean it really doesn't matter in the end. Rodgers and Brees have 1. Marino has zero.

Yeah Mayfield had a brutal season. Looked up SOS. Just went with the first thing that popped up, cbs-sports.com.

Cincy had a tougher schedule. Browns schedule ranked as the 9th toughest. The Bengals were tied for 6th.

Yes

The NFL conspired to put a much less marketable team in the super bowl lol

Read somewhere the real reason the league let Cincy get to the S.B. is to market skyline chili nationally.
