It wasn't rough at all actually. Allen was not even close to the player he is when he was drafted. His turnaround his one of the craziest in NFL history, there is no guarantee he would be the player he is now in the Browns organization. He came from being a bad passer and bad fundamentals to being a top 3 QB in the NFL now. So really happy for the guy.

I think he'd be the guy we see today had we drafted him though have to admit I didn't want him at the time. No doubt he's a stud.

Mine was "I don't have the first clue as I don't pour through hours of film nor get to talk to the candidates......just take the guy they think is the best QB at #1."

I did think it would be Darnold until word came out about an hour before the draft it would be Baker. ....and, admittedly, I was not high at all on Allen.

I would add what guy is not gonna prop up the guys he trained? If he was training Rosen he'd have said Rosen should go first.

Well obviously we can say now that anything would have been better than what they did. I think the Bills were expecting and protecting against a 40 yard pass. What happened will change things going forward.
