Sure, but the rookies this year have more or less been solid or even impressive. Of course, a few of them were super seniors, which helps.

They have.

But that is not usually the case.

And I don’t think any would have been worse off by watching a few games.

Commanders wouldn’t be in the playoffs, but as fun as it has been, this isn’t their year anyway.

Hoping to add a few pieces and be a real contender next season.

yeah Daniels is older. Penix is older and even he sat but that ship has sailed, he will be starting now.
Nix started from day one and he has been prettt damn good.
Next year, Ward and Gabriel will be older. That could definitely help, while sitting is still preferred…not crazy they could start and play well. It’s just so difficult on those truly bad teams and if they are a badly managed franchise it almost feels like they are set up for failure.

Crazy how fast it can happen. It happened quickly for the lions and honestly last year they probably blew their big chance. Just too many injuries to overcome this year. Be interesting to see how quickly their window closes.

Not sure Gabriel is going to be drafted early enough to be a potential starter. Seems more backup to me (given his size mainly).

Alotta people don't like Deion. Not saying you're one of them.

But he took over a program that had won one game the season before and truly was one of the worst in the country.

Enrollment at CU was, might still be, at an all time high.

His arrival in Boulder has meant at least five million in sales annually to the local economy.

His two years: 13-12 / the two years before he got to Boulder: 5-19

People better make the jokes while they can. He's just gonna get better each season. 5-star recruit Julian Lewis (QB) # 2 recruit overall has already committed. His OL's and DL's are still small compared to other teams but that will change.

Mid to late round pick. He will fall bc of his age alone

I don’t dislike him but I don’t like some of the things he has done. The McCarver incident was as childish as it gets. He will disappear as quickly as he appeared, I’m confident in that.

I think he has legs in college as a good recruiter but he needs a strong OC/DC. If he tries to go pro he will be awful.

Damn how many decades ago was that baseball incident? Talk about holding a grudge.

And how can you say you don't dislike him then say he'll disappear as quickly as he appeared? That's kinda strange.

Only if he chooses to.

Guys like Deion bring attention and lots of programs would do well to gamble on someone like him.

Not saying he is going to end up at a powerhouse or anything like that, but he isn’t going away anytime soon.

I can say it if it’s how I feel. I really don’t dislike him, Mccarver deserved better than that though.

We will see, he has some trying to go in his footsteps now.

Looking forward to the Lions Niners tonight. I’ve watched more bowl games this year than ever but I have to say I’m not tired of football yet. Been some great games.
