Yes...I really hope he tells them this week it's better to stay with their guys then let them run free. That was horrible coaching. Never mind they were 4-5th string DBs in many cases.

Serious question....is there anything a defense/defender could do you'd actually blame the D/defender?

For some out there Mayfield can't even tie his shoes right. He could go 25-26 for 299 & 4 TD's and some would complain that he didn't complete all his passes and didn't throw for 300 yards.

My opinion of him is slowly changing. He's definitely not the complete jackass he was a few years ago.

I mean, sure, would be nice to finish off a game like last one but the guy did lead 2 TD drives to take the lead and D gave both leads away.

If it turns out "all" he can do is play really well for 55-57 minutes and with avg. D we don't need late game heroics I'd take that.

Zach Ertz traded to the Cards for a 5th rounder.

He was a great Eagle, an absolute beast in the Super Bowl season. I’m kind of jealous because my Birds aren’t his problem anymore.

People seem to forget that before Mayfield got to the Browns ('15, '16 & '17) the team won a total of 4 games. His rookie year he went 6-7. That's a helluva improvement for a team that was the door mat of the league since '99.

Odell dropping an easy 4 down and 2 catch IN THE RED ZONE certainly didnt help.

Having said that, Baker's actually a pretty solid QB. He's definitely evolved in a short time-frame. I couldn't initially stand him. Now he's grown on me.

Truth be told before, during and after the 2019 season and into 2020 I didn't like him either. Needed to shut up and play. Helped he had grownups around, I think, to hold him accountable and he has definitely grown up himself.
