This. You fans of really good NFL teams make me sick.

I think a huge reason people like to watch college is that just 1-2% will actually go to the pros.....they play for the love of the game....unlike some NFL players who play for the money.I think that will always be the case.
Just really hard to evaluate how college teams will match up.
Another reason why I believe the people who think college is better to watch than pro are crazy.
Not disagreeing with this. Just saying blowouts are very common
Those days are long gone, long gone. That’s why Saban retired, players no longer doing that.I think a huge reason people like to watch college is that just 1-2% will actually go to the pros.....they play for the love of the game....unlike some NFL players who play for the money.
I know college football has changed, just saying why some like watching it. Or maybe better phrasing would have been how college football used to be? LOL.Those days are long gone, long gone. That’s why Saban retired, players no longer doing that.

BOOM.A lot of it has to do with the unpredictability of 18-22 year olds and how they are going to react under pressure.

True. The wild momentum swings and huge upsets can be pretty entertaining too.
You don't get those as much with the NFL.
They all do after 50A little off topic but this is the off topic thread.....LOL.
Did this year literally fly by for everybody else?
I never got that.
I want to see the best players at the top level.
It's kind of difficult to explain re: the college game. It's kind of something you have to experience.
My brother-in-law is a huge NFL fan. He knows I love college football as much as the NFL, but could never understand my love for college football.
So, I took him to a USC night game when they were rolling under Pete Carroll. Got there early, went to Heritage Hall, went to the bookstore and got some "swag". Went to the "Trojan walk" through the peristyle end of the Coliseum and then the game.
Afterwards he said..."That was a lot of fun. I still prefer the NFL...but now I completely get why you love college football."
I hate college basketball now. It is sad bc I used to love it. Worthless sport at this pointSEC refs putting in work for UK
15 fouls to 8 as OSU has 28 points in the paint to UKs 14 lol.
