SMU had a better non conference schedule than bama though and are probably ole miss as well. This is what happens when you go to super conferences. Teams are going to have a cake walk at times in conference play. I know it will never happen but go back to 10-12 teams conferences and you are more likely to get the actual best 12

as you said wont happen.....but guessing we will one day see AFC and NFC type conferences.

One of my prize possessions is a photo I took in 93 at a game in Oakland between the As and Mariners. During batting practice just a few feet in front of me a very young Ken Griffey Jr came up from behind Henderson and jumped up on his back. I need to dig that out.

been some good years but it’s hit or miss. People will complain more now bc teams can schedule a weak non-conf and get away with it. You couldn’t do that in the other format.

I think that will always be the case.

Just really hard to evaluate how college teams will match up.

Another reason why I believe the people who think college is better to watch than pro are crazy.
