Not every team in the sec had a hard conference schedule. We need to quit with that lie that so and so team would do so poorly had they played in the sec.

The ACC is legitimately trash though.

Not sure how it would work but that to me makes it more gimmicky and dumber. My idea would be once a game you can switch 2 players in the lineup. So you have to factor in not having your stud the next inning or whatever. If you’re going to add something this unusual at least keep it as reasonable as you can, extra abs every game are not necessary.

I also read they were considering just letting a team do this when they are trailing which makes sense to me.

Yeah, they've been talking about it on Dan Patrick the past couple of days. Apparently, there are a few variations that are being kicked around. If it happens, it's gonna be a few years. First, they need to decide if they want to actually do it, then they have to decide what will be allowed, then they'll likely want to test it in the minor leagues before introducing it in the bigs.

I like the idea that it can only be used by the team that's trailing.

Just have 3 or 4 guys do all the hitting then. This is such an unbelievably stupid concept on its face. Whatever I guess.

Who is trash here?

Trash compared to the SEC.

the top 3 teams are pretty good.

But the problem is all these teams play each other and pad win totals against competition that just isn’t close to the level SEC teams see most weeks.

SEC isn't as good as you think.

Good enough to get a few wins against playoff teams. Now do that with the bottom half of another conference.

I won’t be making a case for anyone to be 12th. If you don’t make it you did something to keep yourself from doing so.

Team A best 2 wins- Georgia by 18 and South Carolina by 24
Team B best 2 wins- Georgia by 7 and South Carolina by 2

Team A bad losses- Kentucky and Florida
Team B bad losses- Vandy and Oklahoma

Record vs common opponents- Both went 3-1

Now explain why Alabama deserves to be in over Ole Miss?

Damn, drama queen.:drama:

The world won't end. I promise.

From the little bit that's out there, it looks like...IF it ever happens, it would be something that could be used once a game.

Things change and evolve baseball has been dropping in participation, attendance and viewership for awhile, especially among kids. So, they're talking about different ways to increase interest. Better than just staying stagnant and letting interest continue to drop.

Once a game is 150 at bats a year, minimum. Sorry that matters to me. And the reason it’s dropped is they have always had the worst marketing in the history of the world.
