So when you thought I might take offense/disagree you were looking to bicker, but not with the person you should have addressed on the matter?

Again, not surprised....as to McCord? Cannot say I have even seen him make one live throw this season so couldn't say much about his NFL prospects. Assuming staying another year might also be an option, too?

Whether a mistake or not my guess is they not only would not commit to him as a starter but also told him they might be looking to bring in another potential starter so cannot blame him at all for leaving. Maybe if he thinks it's just another comp. with Devin Brown (and Noland) he stays.

You take all of this shit way too personally. I was just continuing the discussion, possibly with a bit of ribbing as we do here.

I mean, he kept me watching last night. Can't remember the last time I watched an entire game involving a 3-8 team. I did last night though.

Had them in position to win, but also threw 2 pick 6's.

Jameis giveth and Jameis taketh away. lol

I was too busy watching the Lakers fumble their way through 48 minutes. Well, kind of watching when I looked up from my phone lol. After that, my appetite for sports for the night was spoiled.

Not sure what you are talking about here as I was doing the same. Just continuing the discussion.......offer my thoughts on McCord and what may have happened, etc. Did I wonder why you whined about me bickering when you chose to bicker? I guess,....but not a surprise with you as you are not exactly a practice what you preach type person.

Never personal with me here and if it ever is to someone he/she probably should not be here.

sure thing, Bozo....it's true I have been smacking you around since I joined the site.

Oh....and oh, the irony.

It's good to see you're now the biggest argumentative jackass in the NBA threads. You've turned yourself into a complete clown.

And remember what got you all pissed off in the first place yesterday.

I was only talking about Day & Cooper and you brought up Harbaugh for no reason.

You've been nothing but a complete asshole since you joined this site. From day one you've been arguing with anyone that says something you don't like.

Got me pissed off? I hate to break it to ya, but other than you there really are not many here who get pissed off by the comments they read in here.

Yes, I understand it started as a Day and Cooper comparison and I threw someone in I thought might be another worthy or even better comparison in Harbaugh. These kind of things can happen in a sports discussion. Didn't mean to confuse you.

Your comments are a walking "oh, the irony" as you are known for arguing a lot (and, yes, so are many here...including me) and I love your Yosemite Sam-like tirades when someone cannot come over to your side in a discussion. No need to get unhinged.

I always appreciate the free comedy you provide.

whatever ya say, GIF Boy. I guess that was better than another foolish reply so baby steps. But you can go ahead and get the last word here.

I may not see it so if you need help understanding why Harbaugh was brought up in the discussion you'll need to ask someone else.

Oh yer so special.

Odd it bothers you so much that Harbaugh has nothing to do with what I was talking about.

But you already know that. You were wrong to bring him up in the first place and you won't let your silly crusade go.

You sure you're not related to wiggy? Both of you ain't right. Must be the drinking water in Cleveland.

So I mentioned Day & Cooper's record in the rivalry the first five years. And you mentioned JH. One of those three don't belong. Take a guess which one was never an Ohio State coach.

You keeping doubling & tripling down on your own dumbfuckery. It's rather entertaining.

It’s official baseball is dead

I don't know. My first reaction to it was a hearty "WTF? That's cheesy and stupid".

But I think that was more a reaction to calling it The Golden Bat Rule (which is lame and gay) than the actual concept.

How many times have you been watching a game and seen your team in a spot where you needed a hit and one of your teams weakest hitters is up and thought "I sure wish (insert name of teams best hitter) was up?" With this you could have that.

I wouldn't want it to be available more than once, maaaaybe twice a game...but, if done right, it could be pretty cool and add a little more strategy to the game...especially if they come up with a better name.

So 150 years of stats history just out the window? Imagine Judge and Ohtani getting 150 more at bats.

Imagine starting pitchers only throwing 5-6 innings a game and never completing games. Imagine guys only able to walk, strike out, and hit home runs. The game changes, 150 years is a long time. I don't know if I like this idea but I don't oppose change just because.

Also, and I didn't look closely yet, would this give hitters more ABs or just allow a team to change the hitting order once?

No they can designate their best hitter to get an extra at bat at any point in the game. It’s far from settled, but the stats are what sets baseball apart from the other sports. They kind of let the bull out of the barn on that one with steroids anyway I guess.

Sports change over the years. MLB hasn't always played 162 games, the NFL hasn't always played 17 games. What about records set by guys playing 14 games getting broken by guys playing 17 games?

To me the stats in baseball are sacred, the other sports simply don’t matter to me stats wise. I know not everyone feels that way but imagine giving Babe Ruth 150 more at bats.

And in a very gimmicky way.

Sounds like something to try to sell tickets in a cheap knock off league.
