All I know is last Thursday was probably the best Thursday night game of the year and the Browns were out of things.

Wasn't interested, didn't watch.

Regular Thursday games are different from a holiday game anyway. Every team has to play at least one regular Thursday game per year.

Depends on your view of the rule. Cut blocking is illegal for injury risk reasons. Does missing your block eliminate your illegal intent?

I was wondering about pass interference penalties this weekend. Just because the receiver actually made the catch, the penalty is negated? Sounds like a logic fail. The penalty yardage should change from spot foul to a 5 or 10 yard penalty added to the end of the catch.

Similar issue with offsetting penalties. Why does a lesser yardage penalty offset a greater one? Can officials not do math? Penalize the net difference.

I won’t worry about it, the BIG is so bad. The teams at the top of all conferences are down, but at least the bottom half of the SEC is pretty good. The bottom half of the Big is Big 12 bad.

Was talking football with a kid the other day. He asked me if I would rather try to tackle Derrick Henry, or get tackled by Ray Lewis.

Pretty easy decision.
