lol numbers say otherwise. Bo been better for 2 months

Overall virtually all the numbers point to Daniels. Even this week alone (the most recent measure) is in Daniels' favor, the only negative being the 2 picks. Higher %, more yards, Nix didn't run, etc. As bad as the opponent Cowboys have been, they're still not the Raiders.

Eh

Not sure i agree with that

Their exposure in the Kobe down years were helped on by Kobe. The mid 90s Lakers are probably the last time i can recall not having a superstar besides the year before lebron

And between Kobe retiring and Lebron coming in...they were still on tv a lot more than any other bad team and several good teams...still played on Christmas, TNT, etc.

Or am I the only one who remembers Barkley (and folks on here) complaining about how much they were on tv.

It's still not even worth the comparison. The Lakers lead the league in finals appearances by a wide margin, 45 games ahead of the second place Celtics and almost triple the third place Warriors. The Cowboys haven't been there in 30 years and have only won 5 playoff games since, all wildcard round games. They are the Knicks.

I don't care about talking heads, I'm talking TV appearances. The Cowboys are forced upon us like Notre Dame football is. 90s relevance enduring for no good reason. The Bulls don't still hold that relevance, neither should the Cowboys. The Patriots dominated much more recently, but are now given appropriate exposure that matches their current team.

Fans might not be bandwagon today, but that's how they originated. How many Cowboys fans are also Yankees fans (and were Bulls fans)?

None of this is relevant.

So if I am extending your insistence on making this about only showing good teams on TV, then I guess we should all be band wagon fans?

Only watch the good teams play?

Dallas has a ton of fans. So putting them on Thanksgiving every year gives the league a sure thing in terms of ratings.

They don’t have to guess about which teams will be relevant when making the schedule a year before.

And even had they tried to only pick good teams for this game…

Guess who would have been a prime contender for a big national game when they made the schedule?

That’s right, Dallas.

I'm asking for variety, nothing more. Additional broadcasts for strong teams and superstars make sense.

They should've flexed that Cowboys/Giants game as soon as Dak went out. They just flexed a different Thursday game for similar reasons.

Very true....and for sure this season so would Detroit. But so many years Detroit was not worthy of the spot.

Then again, didn't matter. Watched nearly every year.

All I know is last Thursday was probably the best Thursday night game of the year and the Browns were out of things.

That's a good point.....The Browns/Bengals were the one they flexed and could be a mistake as those are often good games.

But I don't mind at all as I prefer Sunday games.

Not gonna believe it. Need to see more to make sure the "hey, I'm getting tackled, let's throw it straight up into the air like a punt" dumbassery is gone before I'll come around. Either way, unless Cam Ward just happens to fall to them in the draft, they shouldn't spend a high pick on a QB.
