I prefer football as well but the matchups are always horrible meanwhile nba usually get 9 of 10 teams correct. As I mentioned in earlier this week bears or giants shouldn’t have been here. NBA matchups are always way better and not even close

Regular season basketball pales in comparison to regular season football.

A bad NFL matchup is more meaningful than a good NBA one.

I understand the decision not to call timeout. I even think that was the right call.

But damn.

The ball has to get snapped quicker. And that comes down simply to preparation. Have to have a situational play to get 10 yards against a shell defense that they can get off quickly.

Seemed like nobody knew what to do.

Exactly. I get the wanting to save the timeout. But no matter what, you can't let the game end with that timeout in your pocket.

Get the play called to get as many yards as you can, then call the timeout. It's not that hard.

Hell, if they were having that much trouble deciding on a play...call time out at 20 seconds. You'll still have time to run a quick play, just have the fg unit ready to run out there as soon as the play is blown dead. It'd be a rushed attempt, but better than what actually happened.
