No rb is ever again going to be the reason a team wins a Super Bowl. That’s just not how the game is played now days. Yes Mahomes has been very off but he is still winning. The Chiefs are no match for this version of the Ravehs though if Lamar changes his playoff ways. And that’s a huge if.
I originally said Henry and the defense, never just said Henry.

Chiefs only beat sf because sf made enough passing mistakes to get the chiefs d off the field so Jones wasn’t too tired to make that huge stop in the rz in overtime

If he’s too tired, that’s a td and game over

Either way, still seems like it’s detroits year
Detroit probably the team out of the NFC with SF being banged up.

I realize that. I know my team, the Ravens can’t win if Lamar doesn’t play better in the playoffs. It won’t matter. Now sure having Henry helps a lot, but if Lamar isn't doing his thing Henry will find those runs a lot harder to come by. It’s all about Lamar.

Yeah even if sf gets healthy, they will have to go to Det

They’ve lost too much ground to catchup
Detroit will be vulnerable to a good passing team as they were a pass rusher short without hutch

A good passing team can beat them

And with their defense and Henry?

I could see them beating the Chiefs in a 17-16 or 16-13 type of game. Even If Action Jackson does not play well. Henry is a different animal at RB that the Ravens have not had in the backfield with Jackson.

He’s had the chance and continues to decline

He seems to like being on a second tier team in a first tier city rather than the big fish in the biggest pond

He also seems to like the idea of only playing for one team

But maybe he gets tired of this disaster the angels are

Yeah, he was arguably the best player in baseball for a good 7-8 years, but the Angels never made the moves to put a contender around him. That was ownership and FO malpractice, imo.

You may be on to something with him preferring being on a 2nd tier team. It's not like he never had a chance to go to the Yankees, Dodgers or someone else willing to spend/make trades to put a contender around him. He also never really let MLB market him. He was happy just playing baseball.

I'll never criticize a guy for "being Reggie Miller" and staying loyal to the team that drafted him. But it's fair to wonder what his career may have been like if he was willing to go to another team.

Ok you do you, I’ve seen this act before though.

The Lions have to get an edge rusher before the deadline

Also making a trade is so hard because his name value and the fact that his contract means is trade value is basically neutral. Meaning zero surplus value in terms of what you’re paying him

Yeah, the Angels really screwed themselves with both Ohtani and Trout. Could have spent to put a contender around them or traded them for a boatload of players and picks...but they let Ohtani walk as a FA and they have held on to Trout for so long that they can't get anything for him anymore.

He could’ve gone to his favorite team, the Phillies, but declined

He was close to fa and signed a monster deal with the angles instead

Phillis were interested in trading for him like a year ago but seemed to never go anywhere cause trout hasn’t asked out

Trout needs to be the DH.

Don't risk him in the OF anymore. Limit his chances of getting hurt if that's even possible.....LOL

Ate some homemade chicken tacos for lunch. Loaded 3 tortillas with refried beans, guac, chicken, shredded cheese and with Ortega taco sauce.

So stuffed. A nap is in my future once the food coma hits.
