I think he was getting there with Deshaun as well. Obviously when they had Jacoby and DTR etc they had to minimize the damage they could do and limit the offense.

I personally dont think he was COY last year but yea...dude made the playoffs without his qb and his top RB for most of the year and the OL was completely shattered.

If you think Ryans should have one I can agree he was deserving.....but I guess to be fair we did crush them in the reg. season, won 2 more games, played a far tougher schedule AND as you said had a ton of injuries.

Yes it was (though I think Cousins was, too...but for a lot less)....but was also way overblown. If the guy played/plays as hoped we will be glad to give him the full amount (as well as a likely extension). If he's a bust it's a disaster if his deal was fully guaranteed or only 50% guaranteed.
