I don't know anything about who Joe Fraser is but I would hate to be him right now. He just lost to Royce White in the primary for MN Senate.
Has not played in like 6 years.....that's a lifetime. With the Ben DiNuccis of the world getting signed, if Kaep was willing to take a reserve role I have to think he would at least be in consideration as an emergency QB.
For real. And he’s getting out in 5 years? When that man gets out, I’d be on my way to going in. I don’t trust myself (God forbid) to not go and kill the man he ever did something like that to my child.
I knew someone was gonna bite on that.
Best 8 to ever take the field together

I count 5. You might want to check your medsBest 8 to ever take the field together
They want to restablish the image of a starting pitcher. All these years everything they have done is to bring more offense and encourage swinging for the fences, now all the sudden they want the good old days.I'll have to read more about it because just off the headline, I have a bunch of questions and my immediate response is that I'm against it.
It's kind of odd too because I hate the trend of starting pitchers pitching so few innings and really hate "bullpen games". I have also bitched about how quickly Dave Roberts pulls his starters.
Pitching a complete game used to something pitchers took pride in and that was tracked in a prominent way by MLB...now, you rarely hear it talked about.
Rather than try to dictate how many innings a starter must pitch...maybe just raise the number of innings required to get a win (currently 5) to 6 or 7?
Anyway, that's my "haven't read more than the headline" reaction. lol

The crazy thing about it is some of the truly dominant guys would have a field day today. Can you imagine Randy Johnson with everyone trying to hit home runs every pitch? I think they must have info that some of these injuries are due to guys not building their arms up with work like they used to.I certainly wouldn't complain about starting pitchers being more like they used to be. I miss the days of the dominant starting pitchers. Back then, I could name just about every pitcher I hoped the Dodgers would avoid in a 3 game series...now I can barely name any starting pitchers. lol
