the only sport that has this kind of nonsense is soccer and let's be honest...baseball doesn't hold a candle to the worldwide appeal of soccer.

in the US baseball has become extremely regional. If the goal is to turn off much of the country deals like this are a good start.

Lots of chatter all over the place but I heard Ohtani and his people actually came up with the contract idea, sent it to 5 teams to see who'd do it, all 5 said yes then he picked one. Giants, Blue Jays, Cubs, Dodgers, Yankees I think

Completely unrelated I got around to watching the last couple episodes of Dave last night. The finale is like half Brad Pitt. That was unexpected
