Why what?I don't keep up with recruiting.

Why?
They also bad mouth FSU for a couple close games when Alabama really should have lost to Auburn the same week.Because the committee wanted an SEC team in and UGA winning would have achieved that.
They also try to say "it's about the 4 best teams" but if that's the case, why is FSU ranked ahead of UGA who everyone seems to think would be favored against any of the cfp teams?
The committee likes impressive blowout wins while FSU barely escaped Louisville. And Louisville was only 4 spots ahead of Okie State.I get texas destroyed okie state but that team was ranked lower than Louisville so how the hell does texas jump fsu as well?
Why doesn't Gabriel have a shot against Arnold? Why what?
That is true also. They also bad mouth FSU for a couple close games when Alabama really should have lost to Auburn the same week.
OSU should win vs Mizzou.I'm sure.
I could see half a dozen guys sitting out
Missouri? yippee
Because Arnold was the number 1 qb in the country in his class. Gabriel is a good story, really good kid, but Arnold will likely be a very high draft pick and play on Sundays. No chance OU was going to risk losing him in the portal. Why doesn't Gabriel have a shot against Arnold?
Okay....that's all I was wondering because I don't follow recruiting.Because Arnold was the number 1 qb in the country in his class. I think that is the reasoning the committee would have used.
It’s a shift point. Gabriel transferred from UCF when Lebby left there so it makes sense. OU is basically being forced to choose, it’s an easy decision. There’s little chance he’s better than Gabriel next year though…so it’s interesting

Oh I think it was known but Riley is awkward in dealing with pretty much anything. Plus remember the transfer portal wasn’t a thing yet.Maybe. But I wouldn't be so sure.
@thunderc would know, but I'd bet that OU thought that as a freshman, Caleb Williams wouldn't be better than Rattler yet. Then they inserted him vs. Texas and found out that Caleb was already better.

Do it.Interesting development...Dan Patrick said there seems to be a groundswell of support for FSU to sue to get into the cfp.
Says there's nothing solid and it doesn't mean a lawsuit is imminent...but there seems to be some growing support for it.
I doubt it would be successful, but it'll be interesting to see if it happens.
Contract negotiation? This is how they do it. If you want more NIL money you threaten to leave through the portal.Wonder what that's about? It's not like he wasn't playing or even that he wasn't playing well and Oklahoma is a good team.

I don’t even care if they win (they probably won’t). I just want them to make the committee cringe and be uncomfortable.Interesting development...Dan Patrick said there seems to be a groundswell of support for FSU to sue to get into the cfp.
