Just because it “works” doesn’t mean it is the best way to do it.

No reason not to expand the field.

FSU deserves a shot. So does Alabama and Georgia.

Put 12 teams in, give the top 4 a bye and let them work it out on the field.

1 of the top 5 or 6 will almost always take it down and the bubble teams won’t have anything real to complain about in terms of being robbed of an opportunity.
