If he's the top guy at a major position of need why not? mid-round picks are a crapshoot at best anyway. Pick, say, a DB and get it right and maybe the guy is an OK backup. Pick a kicker and nail it and he will be a big reason you can win or lose a game.

No issue with it (would rather hit on the pick of course). Getting the right kicker probably matters more than trying to find depth at another position in the midrounds.

Remember Damien Mama from USC?

He's not going to be able to do much, if anything if an NFL team drafts him.

In the NFL, he's just a fat guy.

Damien Mama spent a couple of seasons on a couple of NFL practice squads and since then has played for the San Diego Fleet, Los Angeles Wildcats, New York Guardians, TSL Jousters, Tampa Bay Bandits and San Antonio Brahmas.

Don’t bother. He just wants to play semantics and get literal with the meaning of words. You’re not wrong. It’s an international league that has no rival and every year their champion is the best team in the world. But in his eyes, you have to beat teams with Furkan Korkmaz and shit to be a world champion.

Basketball has a world championship.

The NBA is a pro league that has nothing to do with a world championship.

And yet, people incorrectly call the NBA winner “world champ” because they have always done so.

They called MLB, NBA and NFL winners world champs long before international players were prevalent in their leagues. This goes back since before most of us were even born. And well before these leagues were international.

I don’t care what American born players think, but I would love to hear Giannis and Jokic and other top international players.

Literally all the best players in the world play in the nba. There isn't a single player out there playing in another country that you say man i wish he was in the league because they are all here already. 1/3 of the league is international. It is the world championship. The way his quote came off is if we didnt know better you would think the nba was only Americans playing against each other
