Brissett isn't horrible. They need to rely on their defense and run game heavy. 5-6 or 6-5 gives them a solid chance still

I can agree Brissett for 11 games is far from ideal but also think they could be OK with at least 5 wins in the 11 Watson is out which is doable.

I think the AFC is going to be too tough this year for a middling Browns team to try to turn it on in mid November.

AFC being too tough could be an advantage and winning 9 could be enough to get into playoffs.

Is it a lock we'd make it. Nope. But not a crazy notion.

Certainly possible. Never know how the season plays out but guessing as of now the Browns would be favored in at least 5 of the 11 games. Maybe 6. If we just won the games in which we are favored we'd probably go 10-7 IMO.

Something crazy to me:
In nearly every article I read after the initial Watson news on the 6 game suspension there was mention of the NFL really wanting to avoid the Watson returns to Houston storyline. And here we are today with the suspension raised and nearly finalized and lo and behold his first game back is against the Texans. Da fuq?!?!? So crazy.

So far the league's looking like it's operating in tip-top shape. First they completely go against the person they hired to take care of this matter. Push for a year suspension. And agree on 11. Like you said, da fuck...why not suspend him one more game to avoid the potential circus that will be mr. scumbag returning to Houston?

I gotta couple bad ideas to make things even worse. The league should make sure that Browns/Texans game is nationally televised.

And DW should offer to pay for tickets & plane fare for the 20+ women he settled with so they can be at the game live.

Also though, Houston is not blameless in the Watson drama. Fitting that they are his first game back.

Lastly, I love that the league fined him $5 million. It is pretty slimy that his salary is so low this season in the year everyone knew he was getting suspended. The fine corrects that injustice a bit.

I will be very upset if they do not let Nolan and Joy finish Westworld. I planned on watching Raised by Wolves season 2- but since its cancelled not much of a point.

so many other ones too......makes no sense.

scripted dramas is what made HBO what it is......there is no question.
