We can only hope. Did you hear about this yet? Don't remember his name. But a Buckeye OL that's projected as a high pick has opted out.
I did. Wyatt Davis. wonder if under the circumstances he'd be allowed to change his mind if they do play in Oct....and he wants to play.

College football going to be interesting. I wonder how often these players are getting tested.

3 different games for next week been canceled/rescheduled due to covid

why the doom and gloom and constantly pointing out the negative? You did this with MLB pointing out the couple teams who could not play and ignoring the many who could.

Certainly possible they don't finish the season but do you still believe "no chance" MLB finishes?

I guess will be interesting, though, in how they handle makeups if they even do. what will really be interesting is what they do if BIG/PAC join the party but start late.

Dammit @bksballer89 stop trying to fuck up our sports. lol

Seriously though, it's definitely going to be interesting to see what happens.

On the one hand, there have been some games re-scheduled already due to Covid.

On the other hand, most games are still being played. There is talk that the B1G may start up in October and I just heard yesterday that the PAC may be considering a November start.

Pretty fluid situation, so there are still several directions this could go. I could even see some conferences having to shut back down while others are able to finish.

Just hoping if BIG starts it's enough time to have a real CFP.

Baker might end up being a decent NFL QB, but he did not deserve to be a #1 overall pick

They need to deal Beckham and see what they get from Baker from there. The game becomes too much about him getting touches.

That, or Baker needs to take control of his offense.

I forget who it was, but awhile back, Dan Patrick was interviewing a former Patriots receiver. He said that in his first practice with them, they were having a scrimmage and on a pass play, he was open...so he starts waving his arms and yelling, "I'm open, I'm open". Brady doesn't throw him the ball.

He said he came back to the huddle and started to tell Brady how open he was. Brady cuts him off and says "You do that again and you'll never see the ball". He said that right then and there, he knew whose offense it was and he never did it again. lol

With OBJ having more years in the league and being a 3x Pro Bowl player, Baker may not feel like he can do that...but it's what he needs to do, imo.

I don't see that working with OBJ. Trading him before he starts pouting and ruining his value is probably the better idea. Problem is, he's tight with Landry.

Not sure that is the best wording, but think I agree with what you might be trying to say....he should not have gone #1 and wouldn't in a redraft.

Often I agree with this, but this is completely overblown based on yesterday's game....

The #1 WR had 10 touches in a game the team had to pass since down 31-6 early in the 3rd. That's not a lot of targets. 3 of the 10 were caught (so not forced). 2 were dropped (so not forced). 2 were overthrows to an open OBJ (not forced). He had another 2 he caught that were wiped out by penalties.

Don't get me wrong, he has been a distraction at times and best thing is do what they did in 2018 and just throw to the guy who is open.

could be an option and I don't see being tight with Landry as an issue. Landry would be fine if OBJ was dealt IMO.

Browns look like shit

What's new...a lot defensive guys injured but that has nothing to do with the offense. If things don't change quick, things need to change in a big way. Problem is their schedule is so weak I see this being a week in and week out thing..back and forth. A big circle jerk where nothing changes. I have more of an issue with Baker than OBJ.

Well who would? Barkley? The Browns needed a QB so it was going to be Darnold, Baker, Rosen or Allen. 3 of 4 haven't made the playoffs or had little to no success. Allen's had success but is really nothing special. I would compare him to a Blake Bortles and the Bills defense is nasty. I guess in a redraft it would be Josh Allen. Of course you have Lamar Jackson but he was taken late 1st and he fits that Baltimore system PERFECTLY.

IMO they give Baker this year and if it's a disaster they look to draft a QB but they do bc they like the top QB and he can be a sure stud, not a risk. Whether that means they are already sitting there with a top 5 pick or trading OBJ to get picks to trade, etc. If they believe Lawrence can be a franchise, All-Pro QB ---go for it. Remember, Dorsey drafted Baker-that was his guy. They can walk away from Baker if they don't think he can turn this franchise around...Lawrence is the most hyped QB in the last 20-30 years and for a good reason. All that being said, I don't see the Browns winning less than 6 games so it's difficult seeing them with a top 5 pick.
