Second, if it were to happen, I've already said, I would look at him the same way I do Kobe. I never liked Kobe, but I appreciate all of the wins, great moments and 5 titles the Lakers likely wouldn't have without him.

Yeah, but Cleveland is one of the franchises, imo, that its all worth it just for the 1 trophy. To Heat fans and Laker fans that sounds crazy. But to CLE fans, its all worth it.

Considering the Cavs cap situation when they got those guys, it doesn't sound all that crazy to this Lakers fan. Players have different value for different teams based on what the team needs and what the player provides.

TT, for example, provides something the Cavs need (rebounding and defense) that they couldn't get from any other source because they didn't have the room under the cap. He is basically the Cavs version of AC Green on the Showtime Lakers. He does the dirty work. They don't have to run any plays for him or worry about him complaining about touches. On a team with 3 all stars and a couple of former all stars, that's a valuable guy to have.

Had they let TT walk, they wouldn't be able to replace him with anyone else who could provide what he does at the level he does it.

TT isn't worth that money to probably any other team in the league. But, imo, he's worth every penny to the Cavs.
