What complete and utter bullshit. :L "No one's ever played basketball {gasp} with cramps before!"

Magic played a whole series with a torn hamstring.
Kareem played with blinding migraine headaches.
Bird played on a back that required he sleep in traction.
Isiah scored 25 points in one quarter on a broken ankle.
MJ played with a raging flu and a temperature of 102.

Lebron got cramps and had to be carried out like he was in the jungles of Da Nang. :L

As a fan of the game, I'm embarrassed. :L

No he didn't.

No one allowing anything to simmer. Every single player was asked about it. Spurs players answered questions the same way miami did. Pretty sure both teams will try to avoid speaking about it now that it's the day over. Outside of the turnovers, the spurs played a damn good basketball game. Miami shot 47 percent as san antonio shot nearly 60 percent. Spurs won't shoot as well but they'll probably have.fewer.turnovers in game 2. Wade will play better and I think they'll get more production from cole, Chalmers, bird, and shane.

Umm... Magic pulled his hamstring in the final minutes of Game 2. He left the game and didn't return. He did try to go in Game 3 but lasted only 5 minutes. He didn't play at all after that. And they lost the Finals.

I understand the field day people are having with LeBron, it doesn't bother me. The sharks have been waiting in the water for years and finally got a glimpse of a trickle of blood. Let them have their fun.
Hammer, ruined.

Questioning LeBron's toughness due to the cramps is for people that either hate LeBron or have never done anything athletic.

Questioning LeBron's (and the training staffs) inability to keep from cramping is certainly fair, but not a given either. Everyone is acting like "if you cramp... you are dehydrated and didn't drink enough water, end of story". Its not that black and white.

Its known now that LeBron actually got an IV during halftime. The link between hydration and cramping isn't even generally accepted across science.

“[R]esearchers at North Dakota State University used electrical stimulation to induce muscle cramps both before and after subjects cycled indoors in a hot environment until they were 3 percent dehydrated. The objective was simple: To see whether less electrical stimulation was required to induce cramping in the calf muscles when subjects were dehydrated than when they were hydrated. … [T]here was no difference in the amount of electrical stimulation required to induce cramping before and after dehydrating exercise.”

Typically the SPURS tend to coast and sleepwalk in game 2s.
I don't think that will happen now thanks to this storyline.

This has to be pissing San Antonio off like nothing else.
It is one of the greatest locker room bulletin board material for them in ages.

If anything can fire up the usually robotic Spurs, this storyline will do it.
It is a complete and utter lack of respect for the Spurs.
The media is essentially telling a 62-20 team they couldn't win on their own merits..

Miami is doing themselves a dis-service by allowing this to simmer.
They would be better off changing the chatter....and hoping to catch SA napping in game 2.

I don't really think this is bulletin board material...game 2 motivation.

Mano...said it best in his presser...to paraphrase..."we were up 1-0 last year and we lost the series".

They don't need any additional motivation from the media.

It isn't even about pain, it is about the fact he couldn't walk. :laugh3:

But you guys have at it, he will be back to dominate in Game 2

I've had calf cramps that take what seems like a week to have motion again. I don't have a world class training facility to help me, but will he be 100%?

Last 6 times Heat lost game 1 of a series

2011 ECF - Bulls win Game 1... Heat take game 2, win in 5
2012 Finals - Thunder win Game 1... Heat take game 2 win in 5
2013 2nd Round - Bulls win Game 1... Heat take game 2 win in 5
2013 Finals - Spurs win Game 1... Heat take game 2 win in 7
2014 ECF - Pacers win Game 1... Heat take game 2 win in 6
2014 Finals - Spurs win Game 1...

good thing they didn't win game 1 like in 2011 then, huh.

Still no one has answered about wether or not SA practiced all week outside like I keep hearing (from people in SA). That would change alot to their conditioning.

For a minute. Was there during crunch time, when he needed to be. That is the real bottom line...
You started a troll thread because James left the game due to leg cramps.

Your boy MJ asked to and did come out of the game for cramps.

The article I posted completely ruined your trolling.
