yep...

i think they'll make the necessary adjustments in game 2. that game'll be a lot tighter...

I think the game was pretty tight until Lebron went out. The defense prior to that was okay and could've used improvement. Still though, I'm not going to use an AC as an excuse. If that shit breaks down again.....then San Antonio could take down that stupid "Built vs. Bought" banner, because they need to invest in a better fucking AC system.

This current SPURS group suck in game 2s.
I had no doubts they would win game 1.

Despite all the nonsense, I figured they would win by 8+ points in game 1.
Miami surprised me by keeping it close, but I was never worried.

Game 2 is usually the game that they play poorly.
But, SA has shown to be near invincible in game 1s the last 3 years.

Did you guys watch the same game I did? I'm seeing comments about the "game will be much tighter" on Sunday. Was this game not tight? It was 99-95 with under 3 left. The final score is really deceiving

Spurs game plan for game 2. Install heating pads on the heat's bench chairs .

Well, here we go with this again, Miami reminds me of the recent Laker run in this regard...they DO NOT lose game 2's when down 1-0....but it doesn't happen, well until it happens. Dallas got a 2-0 lead that year and we never recovered. I'm not gonna call it a must win, because it wouldn't totally suprise me if Miami went 2 for 2 in Miami...but you don't want to go down 2-0 to the Spurs

Couldn't agree more with you. We'll see what happens. I didn't expect Miami to come away with game 1. I feel great though that Bosh and Wade showed up though. Lebron tends to get better as a series goes.

Just remember the format changes this year. Instead of the 2-3-2 that was changed in 1985 to accommodate the cross-country flights between Boston and LA, it is now 2-2-1-1-1. So a 2-0 lead going into Miami has a little different twist than the old 2-3-2 format would have generated.

Exactly.
Spurs won fair and square because both teams had to play under the same conditions.
However, it was apparent to anyone with eyes that the Heat were gassed.
They had no energy left to play Heat basketball on either end of the court.

Anyway. How is it possible for a city to be so unprepared for an event like the NBA Finals?
I realized what a shit hole it was when I went there last year.
Was debating whether to go for a game later in the series this year.
After watching this, I think I'll El Paso.

I remeber all the heat "fans" claimly that the heat was going to be well rested after winning GM 6.
And things happen man. The power went out at the Super Bowl, the Olympic Ring Mishap (unfortunately someone lost their life because of it). I bet they're working on the AC right now (sarcasm).

Was that after James left the game?

I do love how LeBron gets a cramp and he needs to be carried off the floor of game 1 in the NBA Finals.

I really dislike Kobe Bryant, but I can guarantee you that Kobe would NEVER get carried off like a Vietnam soldier in game 1 of the finals, or any playoff game for that matter.

Maybe I don't blame LeBron, look LeBron is a damn good bball player and he is a monster, there is no denying....But I think this comes from the era of athletes LeBron comes from. There is no more toughness.
