Just went back and checked out some of the comments after game 4.

Shout out to @trojanfan12 @ChiefsLakers67 @Shaqdaddy11 for knowing who the Heat are and not acting like it was a lock the series would end in 5.....meanwhile @DJ said Friday would be the last game of the NBA season lol and basically gave the Heat no shot of winning this one

Just glad to have another game of basketball....hopefully we can get 2 more games

I got one message:

Everyone doubts you right now. Everyone’s writing you off. They’re getting ready to CROWN them other guys. They’re shining up that trophy for ’em….. they’ve got that champagne on ice.

But they forgot about one thing.

Y’all are still here.

Y’all are still here — and y’all belong here.

Next three games are for the Culture.

They forgot about the Miami fucking Heat.

I am not doubting.

The Lakers are better.

But if AD isn’t 100% the Heat absolutely can win this series.

Game 6 against these D-leaguers?...........................

You are damn fool if you think this game diminishes LeBron in any way.

He had an unbelievable game.

Case and point why wins can’t be the only determining factor in individual player greatness.

And I'd have more faith in Caruso taking that shot. Caruso seems clutch to me.

Vogel’s subs late game made no sense.

Caruso should have been out there setting that ball screen.

Morris also should have been on the bench for both the defensive possession where Butler got fouled because Morris did absolutely nothing while his man set a screen for Butler, and the offensive possession where he panicked and threw the ball out of bounds.

Seems like the lakers are crying about an obvious foul call...

It was definitely a foul. But also one that often doesn’t get called in the final seconds.

You know what else could have been a foul? Bam uprooting AD out of the middle of the paint after Morris three the pass to him.

To be clear, it wasn’t a great pass. But watch what Bam does on the replay. AD could have caught that ball otherwise. And no, that is not legal.

What bag did they have it in? They led by 3 like once in the 4th. Is he on crack?

In the bag is an exaggeration. But they had a 3 point lead with the ball and about 2.5 minutes left. The Heat hadn’t scored in a long time.

The AD and KCP crashed on that offensive rebound and Miami got a dunk in the other end when they didn’t get back. That play changed momentum.

Is it me, but just a small little bit, does this series remind you of the Cavs 2016 3-1 comeback?
Not unless we win the next 2.
That being said, we’ve always been 1 AD injury away from winning it all.

How about the KCP bobble head flop when Duncan wasn’t within 3 feet of touching him.
NBA needs to do something about it.
Give teams a couple flop challenges and handle it like a technical foul if they want it to end.

Was LBJ's game last night the best finals game ever? That was insane.

People talk about ending flopping.

It isn’t going to happen. Players are taught to accentuate contact to draw whistles from young ages it is smart basketball.

In the block/charge scenario, you teach the defensive player to move his feet, get to the spot, put hands straight up, take the contact in the chest and then shift your wait back and allow the contact to knock you down.

That is technically a version of a flop too.

It is easy to look at specific plays like the ones you mentioned as being egregious, and I agree. But flopping itself isn’t the problem. It will always be part of the game because getting to the FT line and putting the other team in foul trouble are important for winning basketball.

Officials just need to change a few rule interpretations to remove the offensive advantage when the offensive player creates the contact.

Have to call something there.

Butler wrapped him up and pushed Howard 15 feet across the floor. Refs can’t look the other way on that. It is a foul for sure.

Okay. Maybe give Jimmy a foul, but no double tech. lol

The Lakers are the only team I watched more than the Heat. No way they were gonna just lay down.

Just one more game would be plenty. lol

Im talking about the theatrical, totally non contact flops.
Comparing apples to oranges.
