I didn't even get into that, my post was about Golden State playing without the rim protector, for what ever reason, afforded Irving the confidence to be the star he became in these Finals.

Make no mistake, Irving was the difference in these last three wins by Cleveland moreso than any other player on the court because he 'emerged' and played up to the moment.

No disrespect to LBJ at all, however MVP type of series performances are the standard and are expected for James while Irving was the real unknown that rose to the occasion and was the difference and the Drey suspension opened the door.

Or maybe even with Dray, Irving finally steps up with his back against the wall down 3-1. That's what great players do when facing elimination.

We will never know. One thing we do know is that without Kyrie, GS wins another title.

32 15 and 9 from Draymond....thank goodness Klay didnt show up or the Cavs dont win. As much as Draymond hurt his team for Game 5 he played AMAZING tonight. I gotta say he moment was not too big for him in Game 7,

Props to Iggy for gutting it out- you could tell he was hurting...what a difference from one year to one year- from Finals MVP to LeBron running wild. I think this is where GSW having to go to 7 in 2 series in a row against Clev. and OKC really started wearing them down- where the Cavs rest and easier path really started tos how by the end i think.

Let me put it this way - I would put Smush Parker over Lebron James if I thought it would piss off a Lebron fan. But hell yes Thomas and his cronies played hard and fouled hard as hell. Lebron would never hold up without the refs protecting him

What's funny is that you're a Lakers fan and you failed to mention Shaq.

In his prime, Shaq was a lot closer to being as dominant a player as LeBron.

THAT is a good argument.

I'm sure you know this is a jab at Lebron. Not unlike the the "but Kobe was good too" posts I've seen. Don't worry, Jordan is still the GOAT. After all, he didn't even need teammates.

Well I do show up win or lose....so where you been when they were down 1-3?? And there's also the fact I'm not bitter...and mature. :D

You're a winner in my book! It didn't go our way tonight, but man, that was a fun season to watch. Not every great story has a happy ending, but it was still a pleasure to follow this team. Now I finally get to focus more on work.

Stephen A is another example of a reporter that never even played the game that he reports on and has developed an ego so big he thinks he's actually as big as the game he's reporting on.
