Ok then i'll decide who gets the bye and if I should advance it cant be me...

Is there any way to do a "regular season". A poll with all team teams, people select who they feel are the 8 best, and then those 8 are moved on to a "playoff" with 8 teams? Haven't done many polls, but I assume you can do a poll that allows you to choose more than 1 team, right?

I like it, everyone sends me a list of the teams in order from 1 being best to 9 being least best for all you kids who need a trophy! I add up the scores and announce the 8 that will advance to the playoffs.

I like it for the next draft. You already sent out the playoff seeding and guys have already sent you their lineups set to who they are facing so I believe we should wait on this good idea.

I'm all for what ever gets Nos to post the playoffs the quickest. I doubt we can 5 votes total in 5 hours let alone 5 for 1 option. I'm heading to bed and hope I can fall asleep. If not I will check in later. Seriously what ever others decide on is best I am all for it.

Why not place the names in the randomizer and whomever is 1. gets the bye...? If he loses it goes to 2 and so on... Sounds fair to me...

Or once the first round is over put the 5 remaining teams in and go that route... Either way seems fair, but the first one lets everybody know now, the second we'd have to wait...

Pretty good idea... But is it fair...? Because if I'm eliminated I'd vote for you or Nos for putting in so much work... Others might have other reasons for voting other ways, and it may not be about the best team... I think the randomizer is the "fairest" way... Unless you're saying Nos may not be an honorable randomizerer...

I have no problem doing the first round then letting the randomizer app decide the person who gets the bye. Of course Nos and myself would not be eligible for the bye if we were lucky enough to make it to round 2.

Rd 1 stays how it is and RD 2 do randomizer for bye (excluding Nos and Ritz)

The problem I have with the scenario is that the team with the bye goes from round one to a three team final, example (sorry I have no brackets to show):

I agree with Stoke... I don't like one team can win 1 game and be in the finals

The reason I suggested the "regular season" option, is that I don't know a way to keep the current round 1 and be able to avoid the scenario I just laid out. The best bracket for 10 teams would be a 4 team round one (six teams bye), two teams would be eliminated (leaving 8 teams). But again, it would be difficult to decide who has to play into round 2. I just don't know, really, there doesn't seem to be a way to do a 10 team playoff without giving someone a bye.

Ok this might be to complicated but how bout this. You do rd 1 as is and you do the rd 2 randomizer for the bye. But whoever is selected would then play the two teams who lose in round two in a three team playoff. If the team with the "bye" wins it goes to championship game with those other two teams. If it can't beat the two teams that lost though then it doesn't move on and you just have a two team championship.
