Dude works 8 months a year and travels first class with everything handled for him everwhere he goes, the all star break is no shorter than it has ever been. Just another example of someone thinking they are bigger than the game.
What if they just cut off 2-12 games and added a week?
What he is saying makes total sense.
All non all-stars get a break, so why shouldn't the all stars?
Why not just schedule no games after the previous Sunday, and then schedule no games until the following Thursday?
Easy fix would be to subtract 1 preseason game from each team, and maybe start the season a few days earlier or extend it a few days later.
So basically in this year case you would want them to have off from February 9th-February 20th? That is beyond ridiculous. If any sport deserve that it is maybe baseball but as someone said before just don't have any games schedue after the Wed of AS weekend until either the following wed/thursday. 6 days is long enough break IMO. A week and a half is a little ridiculous
