Selective reading. On the first 2 pages of this thread alone, more than a half dozen posters picked the Mavs to win.
Just sayin'.

Fair enough on that front. I think the narratives that the Western Conference was a tougher gauntlet and that the C's had the easiest playoffs evah changed a lot of hearts and minds.Go back to the predictions thread and see how many have Boston
Oh... I wouldn't call them an underdog... no argument on that one.I'm not understanding the angle here. No one on the planet is viewing Boston as some kind of underdog
They seem oddly opposed to calling their team really good and favorites. I guess some fanbases have a permanent chip on their shoulder. I said this earlier they don’t seem to be having much fun on this rideGo back to the predictions thread and see how many have Boston

The biggest story is they’re doing this with Tatum losing his touch
Yeah... but you're not being real: that's not all that's happening in this thread. They seem oddly opposed to calling their team really good and favorites...
Jayson clearly was told to be the point guard in half court sets this series. They are doubling himyeah, but he was 1 rebound short of a triple-double … so …

When you lump a entire fan base with a personality then the discussions are heading southYeah... but you're not being real: that's not all that's happening in this thread.
Plenty of haters giving off hate... so that'll lead to some chippy back and forth.
Losers lol the playoffs predictions thread is our real picks and like you said damn near everyone (myself included) had them winning the titleGo back to the predictions thread and see how many have Boston

Many fans in this forum, apparently.Only for a very small number of fans.
Right. It is fact that the Celtics had a historically easy route to the Finals.
It is also true that the Celtics have been by far the best team in the league all season.
Yes, there are more good teams in the West than the East. But so what?
The Celtics are better than all the teams in the West also.

Still time to lose this one… most see this years Celtics as a runaway train while Celtic fans are waiting for the train wreck … we’ve seen many in the past few years … they’re a great team that have not proven themselves
I’ll admit, I didn’t see them winning this thing until the 3rd Pacers game(!) when they didn’t collapse … so yeah … we emotional

In the past, those train wrecks came against teams who were as good or better than them. Those teams don’t exist this year. And the teams capable of putting up some resistance either got beat, got hurt, or both.
