I'd say he is the 2nd greatest Celtic, but maybe not their 2nd best player

It's all opinions, no 100% right answer. To me, calling Russell a top 5 ever player is the same as calling Emmitt Smith a top 5 ever NFL player. He was on a team with so many great players that won a ton of Championships, but if he were on the same team as KAJ, Wilt or Shaq, he'd be a defensive sub

Even if that last line is true though thats not really saying anything. The gap is minimal at worst. Kobe would be a backup if he was on the same team as Jordan. Doesnt really say anything about Kobe though.
