That is one more than Shaq and Kobe's combined points in a game. Kwame is a BEAST!

Shocking he has no all star appearances. Maybe WLK should take him. MJ is the one who drafted Kwame.

Random question for all the baseball historians... well 2 questions...

1. What's the deal with the MVP award in the 20s? There seems to be a gap where they didn't hand one out for a few years.

2. How did Babe Ruth only win 1 MVP award and go to 2 all star games?

Second question first. Babe Ruth went to only 2 All Star games because the game didn't exist until his last 3 years. I'm sure he would have been to many had the game been played in the 20s.

Now, MVP. The MVP as we know it didn't happen until 1931, before then there had been a couple other awards that people take to mean MVP because their stated purpose was to award the most valuable player to their team. The League Award, which was awarded from 1922 to 1928 is the award referenced when discussing Ruth's MVP. One stipulation for this award was that a player was by rule ineligible to win it twice. Ruth won it in 1923, so was not able to be awarded in 1924, 1926, 1927 or 1928, all years that he most likely should've won it had he been allowed to. Before and after that - there really isn't anything - so his 1919-1921 and 1928-1931 campaigns were also MVP-less. All told, had he been allowed (or the award existed) it isn't infeasible to think that Ruth would have taken home as many as 12 MVP awards.

Good morning gents! I fell asleep at like 9:30 last night, didn't sleep the previous night. Was up all night cooking... Remind me to never do a 60 plate lunch by myself again...
