Taylor Jordan in with no outs in the 2nd, runner on 1st.

Jordan gives up a hit, but no runs. 1-0 Reds after 2.

Desi ties it up in the top of the 5th with a bases-loaded squibber up the 3rd base line. Infield hit. 1-1, middle of the 5th.

Zim double, Ramos single and a great slide into home by Zim gets the Nats the 2-1 lead in the 6th.

Reds get a couple of Jordan in the 6th and lead 3-2. Barrett in with 2 outs and a runner on 1st now.

Hell of an effort by Jordan, though. 2 runs in 4 2/3 of long relief keeps the Nats in the game and gives them an opportunity to come back in this one.

Also, hokiehi, if you read this later, check out the throw that Michael Taylor made on the Brandon Phillips sac-fly for the Reds 2nd run of the game. An absolute bullet of a throw. Tough short-hop that Ramos couldn't handle, but man, what a cannon! He would have had him dead to rights if Ramos could have held on.

Cozart singles home Hamilton, 4-2 Reds. That one will go on Jordan's ledger, so it was 3 runs that he gave up.

DeSclafani was pinch hit for, though, so we'll be in the Reds bullpen for the last 3 innings. Overall, that bullpen is the 2nd worst in baseball based on ERA.

Todd Frazier with a no-doubter off of Treinen makes it 5-2 Reds after 7.
