It always amazes me when professional pitchers have no idea where the ball they are throwing is going to go. Gio has definitely lost all command this inning. As always, the hits I can live with. They're professional hitters, they're going to get hits. But unforced walks are just killers.

I think they just don't see nearly as many of them. And so many lefties, particularly loogys, throw that sweeping junk pitch. I say junk affectionately. It's an amazingly effective pitch.
