Jordan IBBs Simmons. Wood up. I'm sure he'll get a hit.

Harper with another bunt hit. If that can become a legitimate weapon for him, that would not be a bad thing.

Ok, screw replay. He was safe. It was not inconclusive. It was close, but close does not equal inconclusive. Scrap the system. If you're not going to change calls, fuck it. Oh, wait, they will say that a ball is stuck under a fence, when it's clear as day that it's not. That's not inconclusive. Seriously, are they guessing? Is there actually someone on the other end of those headsets? Did I see Angel Hernandez flip a coin?

And we continue to look like we have no idea what this "baseball" game is when we play the Braves. This team is so in their head it's ridiculous. I think we should have a few more runners thrown out on the bases. Fuck it. If you walk, just run to 2nd like they do in little league. Throw them all off and run to 3rd instead of 1st.

I can handle losing. Helping yourself to lose by stupidity is unacceptable. You have a good team. Play smart and you'll be fine. Panic and play stupid, and you will lose.

Lol, this is comical. LaRoche catches a line drive and doubles off the runner. Are they watching the game? Jesus fucking Christ, the Braves are a fine ballclub, THEY DON'T NEED HELP! I think I saw another coin flip.

For full disclosure, Paul Nauert was the head of instruction when I went to ump school. I like him. He got that dead wrong, though.

Nate McLouth with a nice sliding catch to end the inning without any damage. Ball clearly did not hit the ground, so I think it is an automatic run for the opposition.

Longest 4 innings in the history of sports. The Iron Bowl and the Nats/Braves rivalry are really something special these days to lil ole me. Life would suck balls without these things.

:puke:

Losing to the Barves is as bad as losing to the Cowboys and Penguins. Stop it, Nats.

So, in back to back innings:

Harper picked off 2nd with 2 outs and runners on 1st and 2nd with Rendon coming up.
Zimmerman picked off 2nd with 1 out and LaRoche up, Desmond following.

And for good measure, Zim's thumb was hurt on the pick-off play so he's out of the game. Yay. The lesson? Play stupid and you get hurt. (I know that's not necessarily true, but it makes me feel better to say)

Wait, why didn't Upton get caught in a rundown between 2nd & 3rd? I thought that's what you're supposed to do? :noidea:
