Wow, broken bat comes flying at Zim as does the ball. He ducks (and he needed to), grabs the ball, throws to 2nd and they turn 2. Great play by Zim. Not sure Rendon kept his foot on the bag at 2nd, but it looks like the Braves are declining to challenge after looking at it so it will stand. Awesome.

Kudos to Rendon on that as well, not only the great stretch, but the hose to first to just get Upton.

And Freeman doubles to the wall with 2 outs. How big is that double play now?

Johnson rbi-single to right, takes 2nd on the throw home. Good battle there, 10 pitch at-bat, won by Johnson. 5-4 Braves.

Uggla grounds into a fielders choice, Zim throws to 2nd. Ump called him out. At first glance, he looked very safe. I think this one's going to review, and if I had to guess, it's going to get overturned. If he's out, inning over. If not, bases loaded with 2 outs.

Freddy leaves without challenging, so I guess it was a good call. Wow. End of 5, Braves up 5-4. Long ass inning.

Another crazy play. Wild pitch, runners go to 2nd & 3rd, LaRoche comes all the way around to try and score. Gattis throws LaRoche out on a real close play at the plate. It is under review. I think the out will stand.

And the play stands. 3rd out at home on LaRoche trying to score from 2nd on a wild pitch. 20/20 hindsight and all, I think I'd rather have Harper up with runners on 2nd & 3rd than relying on the "speed" of Adam LaRoche.
