Yeah HOkie. I went to OBX a few weeks ago and it took EIGHT freakin' hours. They had to close 95 b/c of an accident and bringing in a chopper. We were only about 100 yards away from getting by when they closed it.

EIGHT? And here i thought the 4 1/2 hours it took to get to Kings Dominion was horrible. No way i could deal with 8.

It's a old thing from the espn hockey boards. There was an asshole poster, maddog, that use to say "to be fair" every time he ripped OV or the Caps and started it with "to be fair". So every time someone says "to be fair" we say (banned?), just to prove that we aren't/make fun of maddog.

LOL. "To be fair" guy.. same as the "No offense" and "With all due respect" guys. It's like you can say these before you rip whatever you want and it's fine.

First series against the Amazin's since May 16-18 Play them 6 times in the next 9 games though. Nats have won 10 of the last 11 games against NYM, but they are a better team now.

Game 1: Gio - Wheeler
Game 2: Fister - Niese
Game 3: Zim - deGrom

Looks like 3 decent pitching matchups.

Nats have acquired Matt Thornton off waivers from the Yanks. Taylor Jordan to the 60-day DL to make room for Thornton on the 40-man roster. Still dont know who he'll replace on the 25-man roster though. Much needed bullpen help. 'Pen has been downright horrible lately.
