Nats 2013 Regular Season Thread

Nats win despite the poor performance from Gio. Gonna look at the positive side of all this; the defense, bullpen, Strasburg, Gio and Haren have been AWFUL but the Nats are still three games over .500. You have to believe the pitching and defense will come around soon.

I have to believe that the defense, Stras, and Gio will come around. Haren: who the hell knows what to expect from him...I'd be happy if he just kept us within a couple runs after five innings in his starts. The bullpen did well today, but they scare me. A lot.

I talked shit about the bullpen last night, so I must give them credit now. Gave up 1 run over 5 innings...much better performance.

I still wanna see more from Soriano, i feel the Mets let him off the hook. The first batter swung at ball 4 twice it looked like, and he went to a 3-ball count on each hitter.

I was real impressed with Stammen though.

Agree 100%. If I was a Mets fan, I would be furious with their approach. You hit the nail on the head, they let him off the hook.

Jordan Zimmermann vs. Dillon Gee in this afternoon's matchup. As was previously pointed out, this also marks Anthony Rendon's ML debut. Let's go Nats!
