I gotta be honest, I'm hoping it's an awful matchup and will be a bit one-sided in the visitor's favor tonight.

Nats get a walk from Werth, strand him on 2nd in the first. Nice line drive from LaRoche, but right into the teeth of the exaggerated shift.

Mets get the first run of the game on a error by Desmond, single by Murphy, wild pitch by Strasburg. 1-0 Mets.

Buck singles home Murphy, 2-0 Mets.

Duda gives it a ride, but Span circles under it and puts it away. 2-0 Mets after 1, both runs unearned. Nats defense is supposed to be a strong point of this team, but has been woeful so far...it's really hurt them.

I want to watch but gotta run out for food and beer in preparation for my real game tonight which is the Padres @ Giants.

Byrd doubles to the wall in left-center to lead of the 2nd for the Mets. So far this pitching match-up has been one sided in the Mets' favor.

Byrd moves to third with one out.

Strasburg gets out of it without anymore damage, striking out Harvey and Valdespin. 41 pitches through 2.

Strasburg doubles to right with 1 out to get the Nats first hit off of Harvey. Go figure...

Span flies out and Werth K's to end the Nats half of the 3rd.

Harvey pitches around a walk in the top of the 4th and retires the Nats. 62 pitches through 4 for Harvey. 2-0 Mets.

To be fair to him, he doesn't have his fastball command tonight and he's fighting really well, only giving up 2 unearned runs (not that the unearned part ultimately matters) so far. The dude's really good, and that shows when he can get guys out without his command.

Harvey almost duplicates Stras' double, but Werth gets it to end the inning. 83 pitches through 4.
