Spinoff of the National Treasure films that will debut on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. The series will star newcomer Lisette Olivera. As for the actors from the original films, looks like Nicolas Cage and Diane Kruger won't be appearing, though Justin Bartha wll be. Trailer:

I never got the fascination with the Cage movies. I can’t imagine I would watch this one, even for free.

They were just dumb fun.

I mean, Angels and Demons gets kind of long in the tooth with the actual history and/or accuracy, but the National Treasure movies were just meant to be campy fun. I suppose they were intended to be serious, but Cage being Cage, I think they just kind of leaned into it with the sequel.
