Honestly, the only teams that I could picture wanting him would be the Cardinals (defensive replacement for Berkman,) or the Padres (ANYBODY is an improvement over Brad Hawpe,) and are either of those teams really going to give the Giants anything of value? Of course not, if Boggs hadn't stepped up for the Cards, then it would be entirely possible to package Nate with someone like Casilla (when he's healthy) for closer insurance to get something decent back. Honestly, with Derosa on the DL it makes more sense to just keep Nate and option Ford.
