normally I agree with you Serv, but why is Scott full blast going to the outside then reverses himself

Maybe he was going to run a screen or something. But he did come back and chip keisel once he realized that he was coming through untouched (which is a problem). It might have actually been a heads up play by Scott. Whit should clearly have responsibilty for the edge though.

This is my last comment on it, watch Nate's reaction. He knows he goofed. Scott actually did right by TRYING to get Keisel.

I think we can all agree that Scott and Livings both suck and have no business playing a single down in a professional football game. It's embarrassing we're subjected to that level of play. People pay good money to see that.

I like Scott. Livings...not so much. As far as the play go without knowing who is responsible for what I would guess that Whit screwed up by Livings defnitiely reacted like he was the guilty party. Overall just a piss poor, incompetent effort by the entire O-line yesterday.

Not sure what there is to like about Bernard Scott. He brings absolutely nothing to the table.

Scott, Livings, Cook, Benson, Crocker can all take a flying leap.

He's shifty and can make people miss. He's got better instincts than Ced. He can make plays catching the ball. He's a good change of pace back and a good back-up.

He makes plays catching the ball? When did this happen? Better instincts my ass...now you're just being silly.

Well, he could make some plays catching the ball if they every threw it to him or used him that way. I do think he's got better vision than Ced but sometimes he does dance too much. Not saying the guy is Arian Foster, but he's not a bad running back.

I like whit, and I think Livings should be a backup, but that was on whit. No way that was on Livings.

I was reading a mock draft yesterday that Said Nelson will need to be replaced at safety because he's a free agent.

Shouldn't we be signing him?

He doesn't need to be replaced because he's a free agent....he needs to be replaced because he's not very good.....dude plays really hard and supports the run quite well, is a good tackler, but awful in pass coverage.....

crocker sucks though. It will be hard to get 2 safeties and a quality back up in the Offseason, I would think. unless we think Sands is the quality back up.

Our secondary is built for the old AFCN. Our CBs (Hall and Clements) are good tacklers, good in run support, good against possession guys. Our safeties are great tacklers, great in run support. This isn't the old AFCN anymore. It's a passing league and we absolutely need at least 1 CB who can fly and safeties who can cover. Nobody is running it 40 times a game. The Ravens and Steelers are both pass-heavy teams.

yep, they are evolving. We're staying put, aiming to beat shitty Cleveland by 3 points twice a year. yaay...

Nate's reaction is because his QB got sacked, not because he goofed. Even if he had picked up Kiesel, Harrison is still running free. Nothing Nate could have done.

Whitworth should have picked up Harrison, and in an ideal situation Scott should have put a better chip block on Kiesel before leaking out for a checkdown. I say ideal because Kiesel looks to have been Cook's assignment, not Scott's.
