Fresno only losing to USC by 4 with no Carr and Utah State over Tennessee, in road games (of course). Lot of MWC respect there.

Nebraska fans on here have been really hyping Fresno and their new QB, and I saw that USC is having issues with their OL. That is another one I am going to keep an eye on over the next few weeks.

I need to look up Utah State's draft. Last year, they had a really strong defense. Only 2 teams last year scored 30+ on them last year (Boise and BYU). They also return their QB and RB (which I feel in these small schools could be a big thing). They are also a team you can never count out on the first week of the season.

It sure would go a long way to right size the Trojan fans bloated expectations if Fresno got the W, but I still think USC wins this one.

You might as well double the score of the Oregon game. Their going to use all their cupcakes to bloat up Mariotas stats for Heisman run sake. If Oregon isn't up by 50 at the half, Uncle Phil will be getting on the coaches headset he has in his luxury box and inform Helfrich he'll be looking for a new job soon.

Also believe WSU will beat Rutgers. WSU will not be held to only 13 points.

As of right now I have LSU for 1 pt. in my Pick'ems lol. I plan to revisit my picks before the games start but, as of right now, I have no idea which way that game will go.

WVU v Bama game is going to be a lot closer than people think. Right now Vegas has Bama as 27 point favorite. I think WVU can pull the upset if they use lots of tempo. Has Bama figured a way to play against tempo since the Saban rule was voted down?

Iowa State will be good in the pass, but it is mainly because their WRs are decent. Their defense is not very good. They also have a new OC this season, which an OC takes a few years to establish. NDSU is no joke. They weren't last year when they beat K-State, and they won't be this year.

Colorado dominated CSU last year in Denver. I even have Colorado scoring less and CSU scoring more this year.

I think Louisville will fall far as Bridgewater will be playing on Sundays.

OSU lost more players to this year than any D1 team. 3 starting OL, 4 of the top 5 WRs, top LBs, and FIVE DBs that were all long time contributors. Only 4 starters on D back.

If this game were later in the season I could see the point, but not the first game. Not for a secondary that has little PT. Plus there is one thing. OSU does not have Daymeun Craig on the sideline giving the OSU D the plays FSU is running. Even their DC who said in an interview that he is having trouble finding any weakness after watching film all summer. I know coach speak, but you typically do not say those exact words.

I think it will be a slow start for both teams, but like last year at the end of 3 it should not be in reach.

I've questioned Nebraska's chances in that game, but it wasn't to hype Fresno St.
It's having little faith in the coaching staff preparing Nebraska for the game.
