like the baltimore game, a big play getting called back gave the home team momentum. we should have taken this game regardless, but seemed like a huge shift in the game.
I kind of thought the refs evened things out as the game went along - This loss belongs completely to a failure of execution, concentration and strategy - IMO
Unless a bad call effectively ends the game, then it is just a distraction, a barrier that those capable of overcoming adversity, overcome, and those that aren't - complain about.
We were given a gift of a non-call on Kyle Williams touchdown when the Cardinals were in our house a couple weeks ago; and the beat goes on. Our problems today go well beyond a bad call - or two.
but still doesn't take away from the fact that one play can make a big difference. the whole stadium would have been dead after a big play like that
no one wants to bash/question the pass rush???

What pisses me off about the fake fg is the fact that we can come up with this cutie-pie shit (passes to D-lineman/O-linemen, onside kicks in the first half, wildcat bullshit, etc.). Yet we cant come up with decent, common sense plays for our regular offense. Pathetic loss today.
I'd be more inclined to bash the pass rush if it weren't for the missed opportunities by the offense. The fact is that some games you should win even when the other team scores a decent amount, this was one of those games because of the opportunities we had to put it away in the first half. I also think it's possible the defense is starting to feel the pressure from the crappy offense.
Another good point! Perhaps taking more risks in an effort to make something happen.
Not really. We had a 19-7 lead and did not need a big defensive play. We just didn't need to give up a big play which we did several times too.
When did the refs even out the calls? I missed them giving us first downs and helping us put the ball in the endzone.
They totally screwed us on the challenge. The NFL needs to put in that if the ball is snapped you can't blow the play dead it's to late. That ball was in Alex hands before you ever heard a whistle. Then to give the Cards back their timeout because they could not review it....ugh why can't officials get 10k fines for this?
Then you had the we're going to call it but no we're not on the leverage attempt during a FG attempt. You also have the Alex has someone touch him so it's sack as if we were playing flag football. I've seen QB's making plays while being slung to the ground. Please someone tell me how grabbing a QB's ankle while he throws a completed pass is a sack but grabbing him up high and slamming into the ground as he throws one is not? Once again why is it officials are not fined for poor calls?
So what did they give us to even this out exactly? They picked up the flag on the Ginn return? woohoo.

Hahaha...that's a good point
