What kinda nonsense is this? Whether you meant stats wise or skills wise, this is flat out bull.

In fact based on the close Okafor vs Harrell stats you provided, I can't see how you'd say Okafor isn't on the guy's level. And if you didn't mean stats wise, there's no way you can say Okafor isn't on anyone's level based on pure talent.

I think Okafor and Harrell are very close stats wise. And I don't give a rat's ass about "pure talent" whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean. I'm talking about watching them play in real games against good competition.

Okafor certainly helped his case by going for 25-20 tonight, which is no small feat against any competition.

That said, I still think Harrell is more polished, has better instincts and is a better player in general. How many UofL games have you watched this season?

Okafor has a ton of potential, but they don't give PotY awards for potential. If he keeps posting stat line like he did tonight, I think he has a good shot at winning the award, but so far that is the exception, not the norm.

POY isn't about "pure talent". That's what the draft it for.

That's not my point. The guy said Okafor isn't on the same level as Harrell and Kaminsky when the stats prove otherwise. So my take was if he didn't mean stats, maybe he meant talent wise.

And it's a bit ridiculous too because even before last night, he was having a better season than Kaminsky.

The stats don't prove shit. How many games have you seen Kaminski play? How many games have you seen Harrell play?

If you're whole argument is based around stats, it's fucking pointless since they defy direct comparison.

Okafor is a 5
Kaminski is a 4/5
Harrell is a 4
Wright is a 1/2

When they don't play the same position, the stats don't mean much. And Okafor is a fantastic player, but he isn't on the same level as those other guys. He has a ton of potential but if you watch them play, he's just not there yet.

We will see a great match up Thursday night when Duke faces UConn. 7 footer Amida Brimah just came off a 40 point night and shoots 68.9% from the field.

Can I throw some love to D.J. Newbill?? 22 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 3 APG, almost 2 SPG... Has led Penn State to a 9-1 record in a season where many thought theyd struggle big time. Kid is a straight baller. He wont win because he doesnt play for a big name BB program but there isnt a better player in the country in my opinion.
