1st. Armon Binns I over stated...he will be a possession receiver at best nothing splashy...Kramer you were right I was wrong...It is what it is...

2.Zimmer and the defense cant stay consistent...1 year they are good the next they look like shit...Seems this will be the off year...Still think he is a good coach but he needs more talent....

3.Andy Dalton: Had a horrible game...Are we in for a sophmore slump??? More importantly is he really the long term answer??? The down field throws are just missing...Marvin Jones should have received some burn

4.NO ONE and I SAY NO ONE better say anything about Jeff Faine, Clint Boling and Zeitler...THOSE MO FO"S BALLED OUT LAST NIGHT! SHUT IT UP and give props!

5.BGE??? Looked better than Benson did against the Ravens last night...Converted 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 tim and time again...and the TD was awesome! Love this guys heart!

6.Green??? Better catch the DAMN BALL!

7.Tate??? Horrible kick returner......

We need Scott back we need Dunlap back we Need Jason Allen to start at corner opposite Hall instead of Newsome and move Clements back to Safety...

Finally......Prediction for season is 6-10 to 8-8 I see NOTHING more than that...anything above that will be a HUGE SURPRISE!

I know last year Bmore blew out the Steelers yada yada yada but we aint the Steelers....

If the Bengals don't get well the next 5 weeks against teams all predicted to finish last in their respective division, they won't win 4 games this year. Their second half schedule is brutal.

I thought Dalton was fine. He pressed late in the game when it became clear that he had brought a knife to a gun fight, but otherwise he looked good. AJ should have caught the pass over the middle and Gresham was just awful. Gresham alligator-armed that ball in the middle of the field. It was a good throw.

I give props to Faine, Zeitler and Boling.....they performed above my expectations....overall the oline had a decent game....ASmith was a beast in the running game, and even though I was positive on BJGE he exceeded my expectations.....the defense, though, don't get me started......

yea... we were only supposed to lose by around 7... We got our asses beat worse than Miami did.

we're completely clueless on defense.
Ravens are supposed to be a 2nd place team, we made them look like the 99-00 Rams.

I'm ready for us to move Sanu and Jones to active and get Tate and Binns out of their way. Yea, I know... Binns is a "good blocker"... but we need to score more than 13 points.

I thought Dalton played well. You can only ask so much of a guy against a team like that before a mistake happens. Rees has picked of many a great QBs in his day. Gresham......I'm over him. Get Lee and Charles in the game and bench his ass.

I thought Dalton played pretty well most of the game, but there was one deep pass he overthrew after AJ Green got 5 yds behind the defense. He completely missed him. You can't leave plays like that on the field.

he's a good, smart QB, but his downfield throwing needs tons of work.

I generally block out the NFL media because as this point it's more entertainment than analysis, but Cossell is an exception. He made that critique of Dalton in the offseason.

Agreed, but to the downfield throws, Dalton's arm strength isn't the problem....it's his inaccuracy.....he either underthrows or overthrows the open downfield receivers all the time.....if it was arm strength, all his misses would be underthrows....it's something he can fix.....

On Flacco's deep completions he was putting nice touch on the ball, letting his WRs under it. To my untrained eye it looks like Dalton's deep passes he's just throwing it as hard and far as possible.. sometimes it hits the WR other times it doesn't..

I think he's a very good young QB, but it's the one area he needs to improve.

I don't think Dalton over torws Green in that situation if not for the whole fucking offseason odeal. I think he was so worried about not leading Green that he put too much air under it, because he doesn't want the shit storm of him having a weak arm popping up after the game.

Dalton played pretty well, was very impressed with the OLINE, but considering my expectations after the preseason, I think I am falsely over impressed because I expected so little after preseason.

I am honestly not upset with the offense other than as someone mentioned, Gresham alligatoring that catch which led to a pick 6. Outside that, I thought the offense did pretty decent against a tough Ravens D, not as tough as it could be with Suggs, but tough D none the less.

I don't even want to talk about our D, because I would basically crucify everyone on defense minus Atkins.
